Our office is open.  As a result of the reported Covid-19 patients identified in Oakland and Wayne counties, we would like to send updated information from our office.

We continue to follow the CDC guidelines and steps designed to prevent the spread of the virus.  We are also sanitizing common area surfaces several times a day. These areas include our waiting room chairs, door handles, and surface areas which may be a potential source of transmission.

We can control the risk areas in our office; however, we cannot control what comes in the door.  We would ask the following of our patient family to prevent transmission:

If the patient or any family member has aches, fever, chills, cough, or general malaise we require you reschedule until symptoms have subsided for two weeks. If you have traveled to a country with a CDC Level 3 Travel Notice (these are China, South Korea, Iran, and the European Union, except the UK), we ask that you reschedule your appointment for at least two weeks from the time you returned to this country. We would ask a patient to come alone or with only one person if the patient is a minor or has the need for assistance to reduce the number of patients in our waiting room.

We appreciate your cooperation to limit the spread of the Covid-19 virus and will keep you updated if we do need to close our office.
