New cornea treatments coming for Keratoconus patients

I went to the Beaumont Department of Ophthalmology meeting on 11.28.11 for a presentation on new treatments for Keratoconus patients. Riboflavin collagen cross-linking in the cornea can help stabilize the tissue and hold back disease progression. This will most likely have treatment options for some non-LASIK candidates, or post RK patients as well in the future.
